Hands-on, without the machine
The modules are built on the SIMAC Machine Education Edition — a full linac simulator in the browser. You change parameters and see the effect immediately, which is neither quick nor safe to try on a machine that has patients scheduled on it.
Clinical machines are booked and revenue-bearing. Learners arrive already knowing the screens, the sequence and what a healthy machine looks like, so bay time confirms skill instead of building it.
Mis-set a parameter, drive the machine into a fault, work back through the interlocks. On a simulator that is a lesson rather than an incident report — reset and go again.
